Just updated the nVidia-driver in the Device-Manager , by pointing to the extracted Display-Driver folder…….. Pete, did you uninstall current drivers before installing new clean install or did you simply overwrite? Perhaps because more than the simple Display-Driver that of the folder is concerned, at least when updating with the work-around for the first time.
